(EN) Erwin Olaf (1959-2023) was a Dutch photographer and visual artist acclaimed for his editorial portraits and stage photographs. In his work the soft and forceful light becomes the main visual element of ironic and emotional portraits that lead us to reflect on the loneliness, frivolity, pain and melancholy of those of us who inhabit a world in crisis, dominated by social conventions and taboos.
