The shadow of a still life consists of a collection of floating white butterflies created from wire and recycled cotton. In the greenhouse, a wooden bird form covered in moss coexists with butterflies.
Butterflies, birds, and moss are the living things that are most impacted by environmental degradation.
In conjunction with the use of dramatic lighting, the installation creates an immersive environment within a landscape during a period of global climate change.
